Lalitha has been practising yoga for more than 15 years and teaching for more than a decade since 2010. Her first yoga experience was during a difficult patch in her life and she has never looked back. For the 90 minutes she was immersed in her yoga class, her body and her breath were her safe haven from the outside world.
Although she was a lawyer at that time, yoga presented new adventures where she learnt new skills physically and mentally. She always feels happy and inspired after a practice.
Lalitha has six different Yoga Alliance-accredited teacher trainings and she has taught in both Australia and Singapore. She continues to study avidly the different yoga styles and traditions, incorporating what resonates with her from each lineage into her own classes, with the latest being ‘Inside Flow’. ‘Inside Flow’ challenges both her mind and her body and lets her fully express herself though music and movement – and it’s not as daunting as a dance class! Lalitha is excited to incorporate this style of yoga into what she teaches at KPY.
Lalitha is a mom of two pre-schoolers and she is also an avid Acro Yogi. Yoga continues to open her heart, create space in her body and make her happy. She teaches in the hope that yoga will lift people out of the everyday, to have fun and feel inspired to try things they never thought they could do before.
