Ashley’s encounter with yoga began in 2008 when she attended her first yoga class out of boredom from running. While she attended many other classes after that without any expectations, she started to feel a difference yoga made in her body and mind. In 2013, after regular practice and encouraged by people around her, she took up her first yoga teacher training in Ashtanga Yoga and has been teaching ever since.

Over the years, her practice and her mindset gradually shifted towards a calmer state which directly influenced her teaching methods. Ashley’s teaching style is gentle yet firm and ranges from Hatha to Yin Yoga to myofascial release. She enjoys the process of guiding students into poses in an unhurried and detailed pace. Her love for using props is obvious in her classes. Her latest obsession is the yoga ring and she is looking forward to sharing the versatility of the yoga ring with the community.
