This Foundational Course in Yoga is ideal for someone who is starting out in yoga or for a practitioner who has taken a break from yoga and wanting to get back into it. This 3-week course aims to provide you with an overview of Pranayama (breathing techniques), Asanas (physical postures) and mindfulness practices, equipping you with the basic skills to join a group class with more ease in the near future.
What you will learn:
- 3 different pranayama techniques — even breathing, longer exhalation and alternate nostril breathing
- More than 15 different asanas — foundational, standing and seated poses
- Basic mindfulness practices
Each week’s curriculum will cover all 3 areas of learning — pranayama, asana and mindfulness.
To ensure optimal learning and personal attention, this course will be limited to 6 participants. You will receive a learning manual detailing the teachings.
