A life among antiques can slow things down, making us stop and contemplate the beauty of old workmanship and artistry and its history. At The Marndadee Heritage Chiang Mai, 80% of the furnishings and décor are antiques, distinguishing every room with an individual touch. A cupboard once owned by a British resident of Burma, a bed of British origin that came from India and a sofa from Germany are just a few of the eclectic collection of the resort’s furniture.
Over the 5 days, grab a book and lounge in one of the many hidden nooks on the grounds, take a dip in the gorgeous pool or explore the city markets for simple craft – all in addition to the daily yoga sessions. Deepen your connection with nature and refuel your mind, body and spirit with Simona.

Simona was introduced to yoga at the tender age of seven by her parents who were yoga practitioners. But her interest in yoga turned into a passion when she was studying Economics in University. Since then, she has practised and studied under different teachers around the world, including India.
As an Ashtanga and Iyengar based teacher, Simona is exposed to various form and styles of yoga including Hatha, Yin and Universal Yoga. She has lived in Singapore for more than a decade and has taught in various yoga centres.
Simona has led multiple yoga retreats and she tries to create a wonderful atmosphere where everyone feels encouraged and inspired to progress at his or her individual level. More on her here.
