Yoga Holiday with Li Ling in Siem Reap, Cambodia
Heritage Suites Hotel, 9-13 April 2020
“Because one believes in oneself, one doesn’t try to convince others. Because one is content with oneself, one doesn’t need others’ approval. Because one accepts oneself, the whole world accepts him or her.”
— Lao Tzu
Many people lose the small joys in the hope for the big happiness and end up either unhappy or disgruntled with what is happening in their lives. As Dale Carnegie in the book ‘How to win friends and influence people’ puts it, “It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.”
Let’s start by taking small steps towards eradicating or having fewer of such thoughts that do not serve us as we go through life, work and relationships. Join Li Ling for a 5 days-4 nights yoga holiday to the ancient city of Cambodia, Siem Reap. Experience Khmer hospitality at the Heritage Suites, one of the original luxury boutique hotels in Cambodia and recently refurbished in 2018. You will be enjoying your retreat in the comfort of a suite with a private pool and steam room.
Practise twice-a-day poolside yoga under a canopy of tropical flowers and towering trees, eat healthily, enjoy a cooking class, and venture out to UNESCO world Heritage Angkor Wat Temples in the day, while resetting perspectives, priorities and winding down from the hustle and bustle of life.
