What it’s about:

Have you ever injured your knee but experienced pain in your lower back? Or have a very tight shoulder and felt it all the way down to your heels? This could be a result of adhesion in our fascia, our body’s web of interconnected tissues such that when one spot gets tugged or pulled or injured, the effects ripple throughout the body.

This session will share with you the common myofascial release techniques, using tennis balls to release common areas of concern such as shoulders, lower back and hips. Releasing these adhesions will create a change that will allow for more efficient and pain-free movement patterns.

Teacher:

Li Ling started her yoga journey more than a decade ago. Having been a very active netball player in school and outside of work then, she saw yoga as another form of physical exercise to complement her existing training schedule. Today, Li Ling’s teachings draw from her diverse trainings in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Myofascia Release, Yoga Philosophy, Pranayama, and overlayed with her background in sports. She still plays netball competitively and myofascia release is one of the key release work she does for her body, besides yoga stretching of course. More on her here.
