Jian Yuan started practising yoga in 2014, and soon found that while the physical practice of yoga poses made him stronger, healthier and more flexible, his asana practice was only the beginning of an ever-evolving personal journey of reflection, self-awareness, personal exploration and self-development.
Jian Yuan considers himself a student of yoga first, and counts himself blessed to have received support, knowledge and wisdom from his various teachers. He is deeply grateful to all his fellow teacher friends for their encouragement and moral support in his journey of practice and teaching.
In sharing the joy and benefits of a yoga practice, Jian Yuan encourages his students to explore the infinite possibilities of their practice with receptivity and mindfulness. His teaching comes from a nurturing and empathetic place, and he teaches accessible classes that facilitate the mindful connection of body and mind through the breath.
