In the absence of making it physically to another great class by KPY teachers, we have pulled together our time and effort to share with you a few videos which you can do at home. No, the videos were not professionally taken. No, there were no bright lights or make up. And you can hear KPY’s famous ‘waterfall’ from our neighbour upstairs at the East Coast studio!
However, they were all taken with our hearts — to soothe yours (teachers did this voluntarily without fees). Enjoy moving and breathing to these videos and share with us how you felt on our YouTube Channel.
Shoulder flossing with Li Ling
A quick 20-minute sequence to release tension and stress in the shoulders. Especially useful for a lunch-time break or a quick stretch in the evening to wind down your day. Props needed: blocks/thick books and/or long towel or belt. Suitable for everyone. (blooper: watch out for Coco’s scream)
Gentle Flow with Sophie
A 20-minute gentle flow sequence with Sophie. Focus is on moving the body and feeling your breath. Sophie has a soothing voice that will make you forget you are working out.
Twisting with Li Ling
Join Li Ling in this 40-minute sequence focused on twisting and rejuvenating the spine. The sequence starts off with simple breathing exercises, releasing the hips and then goes on to stronger standing twisting poses while keeping our options open. At the end of the practice, enjoy yummy and delicious side stretches.
